Seven warrants were granted, and seven remits were made to the Burgh Engineer. Warrant was granted to David Adamson for a double villa at Corrennie Drive, and to Brown Brothers & Co (Limited) for additions to Rosebank Iron Works, Broughton Road. on 17 February 1905.9

  • Newspaper Article: He was mentioned in a newspaper article Scotsman 2 July 1915; Fatal Accident to a Retired Edinburgh Builder. - Mr David Adamson, retired builder, Innerleithen, lost his life through a shooting accident on Wednesday evening. He went out shooting on the Kirklands Hill in the early part of the evening, and as he did not return at his usual time, a search party was organised. He was found near a dyke, having evidently been in the act of climbing it when his gun, which had been placed at the other side, went off, and he was shot in the forehead. Mr Adamson retired from buiness as a builder in Edinburgh a number of years ago, and went ot reside in Innerleither; where he was a generous supporter of all schemes which needed help in the town. He took an active part in the affairs of the town, and was a Town Councillor. He was an active member of the Liberal Club. A keen sportsman, he was president of St Ronan's Bowling Club, while curling, angling, and shooting also engaged his attention. on 2 July 1915.11
