Military Service

  • Military Service*: James Adamson served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1915 in Chicago when he crossed over the border and enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1915. He was stationed in Ashford, Kent, where he married. At the end of the War, now a staff sergeant, he took his wife and baby daughter with him when demobbed in Quebec - the family returning to Ashford six months later.4
