  • (Witness) Memorial Inscription: She is commemorated on the headstone erected by William Kinnear and Janet Stirling in 1816. Inscription reads Erected 1816 by William Kinnear and Janet Stirling at West Mains of Turin,
    in memory of their children Elisabeth who died 27 Sept 1807 aged 1 year 9 months,
    James who died 27 May 1815 aged 5 years 9 months,
    Janet who died 5 June 1815 aged 4 years.1
