  • (Registrar) Death RCE: James Brown registrar Kirriemuir was the officiating registrar when the death of Alexander Milne Welsh blacksmith was registered on 13 August 1896 at Procurator Fiscal's Office, Forfar, Forfarshire, Scotland, ; Vol III, page 45, Register of Corrected Entries for the parish of Kirriemuir in the county of Forfar; The following report of result of a precognition has been received touching the death of Alexander Milne Welsh registered under no 59 in the Register Book of Deaths in the year 1896; Alexander Milne senior blacksmith master married 68 years, died about 9 pm on Thursday 23rd July 1896 at Reform Street Kirriemuir, parents David Welsh carter and Mary Milne or Welsh; cause apoplexy certified by Dr A K Mill Kirriemuir who examined body after death; Procurator Fiscal's Office Forfar 13th August 1896 certified by Robert Whyte Procurator Fiscal, registered August 14th 18996 at Kirriemuir James S Brown assit registrar.1
