[to Dundee St David's, ed] 1st Feb. 1844; died 27th March 1852. He was friend and encourager of Alexander Bethune, author of Tales and Sketches of the Scottish Peasantry, who was one of his pupils at a night school at Lochend near the Loch of Lindores. He marr.
