Muir St Stephen Edinburgh officiated at the marriage of Amelia Newbigging on Tuesday, 23 January 1844 at Edinburgh, Lothian, Scotland, ; 1844 Adamson & Newbigging, 1 Sabbath; Newton 20th January 1844, The Rev John Adamson minister of this parish & Miss Amelia Newbigging residing in the pasrish of St Stephen Edinburgh, gave in their names for proclamation in order to marriage. They were married on the 23rd Ultimo by the Rev Dr Muir of St Stephen Edinburgh.1
