His wife, whose maiden name was Lizzie Massie, is also a Forfarian.
  Deceased, who was only 35 years of age, was very popular with the workers, hundreds of whom met the train bearing his remains when it arrived at Waterford. The chief mourners - Messrs William Bowman (manager of Goodbody's Jute Works), Fred Meldrum and George Stewart - were all fellow-townsmen of Mr Fullerton.
  He is survived by his widow, one daughter and one son.¹
