  • Married Name: As of 3 February 1833, her married name was Simpson.1
  • (Witness) Memorial Inscription: She is commemorated on the headstone erected say 1841. Inscription reads IMO DAVID SIMPSON, Shipmaster who died at Rica 19/10/1841 aged 41y and was interred there. Also Elizabeth Kinnear his wife who died 30/7/1873 aged 68y and is buried here. James Hutton Barclay, Ship Master, their son in law who died at River Du?clour, Canada 28/8/1873 and was interred there. Also Margaret Neish SIMPSON daughter of the above DAVID SIMPSON and widow of the above Capt. James Barclay born 27/1/1858 died 31/1/18??3,2
