  • Award: Mentioned in Despatches Award Medal was awarded to Dr Douglas George Adamson MBChB MD FRCP consultant physician on 19 July 1945 at London, By the KING'S Order the name of Major (Temp.) D. G. Adamson Royal Army Medical Corps, was published in the London Gazette on 19 July, 1945, as mentioned in a Despatch for distinguished service. I am charged to rercord His Majesty's high appreciation.
