  • Note for Web*: Korea Medal The Korea Medal is awarded to personnel who participated in the Korean War between July 1950 and 27 July 1953.

    To apply for the Korea Medal, you must have either:

    1 day of service on land in Korea in the army, RAF or Royal Navy
    1 operational sortie over Korea or Korean Waters in the RAF
    28 days service afloat on ships or crafts engaged in operations off the Korean coast in the Royal Navy.1
