  • (Headstone) Memorial Inscription*: Headstone Forfar Newmonthill Cemetery Fairweather William 1787 was erected say 1875 at Newmonthill Cemetery, Forfar, Forfarshire, Forfarshire, . Inscription reads Erected by James Fairweather in memory of his mother Isabella Wilkie who died 3rd May 1863 aged 68 years,
    And of his father William Fairweather who died 29th Decr 1869 aged 84 years,
    Also his niece Jane Adamson who died 6th Decr 1869 aged 21 years

    The said James Fairweather died 19th Novr 1881 aged 60 years
    Robert died 17th Decr 1901 aged 69 years
    Jane died 27 March 1902 aged 68 years
    Agnes died 14th January 1903 aged 79 years
    Also David and William who died infants also children of the above William Fairweather and Isabella Wilkie his spouse.1
