    Rev. James Wilson Minister of Farnell then Kinnaird was born to:
    Father George Wilson, Minister of Edzell, then Kinnaird
    Mother Anne Burnett who was the daughter of William Burnett, of Criggie (b. 1683-d 1747) and Jean Burnett

    She was paternal the grandchild of Thomas Burnett, of Leys, 3rd Baronet and his wife Margaret Arbuthnot.

    Jean Burnett was the daughter of Robert Burnett, of Cowtoun, Muchalls and Criggie and his wife Helen Arbuthnot, b. 1657, Fiddes, Kincardine, Scotland

    11 Nov 1797 he married Joan Nicholson, of Glenbervie (b. 1 May 1766)

    Children
    Anne Wilson (later Badenach-Nicholson), of Glenbervie, b. 1799-d. 3rd Oct 1878. She married Robert Badenach, of Arthurhouse in 1831. Robert was the son of James Badenach, of Whiteriggs and his wife Anne Grahame

    1829 Sacred to the memory of the Reverend JAMES WILSON, minister of Farnell, who died on the 18th of October 1829, in the 74th year of his age, and the 52nd of his ministry justly and universally regretted by all who knew him Also to his two sons, JAMES and GEORGE, the former of whom died an infant, the latter in the 22nd year of his age; Also to his mother ANN BURNETT, and his sisters, MARGARET and CATHERINE, all of whom are interred here.
