  • (Witness) Memorial Inscription: He is commemorated on the headstone erected by Helen Adamson in 1872 at Forfar Cemetery, Forfar, Forfarshire, Scotland, . Inscription reads 1872 erected by Hellen Adamson in memory of her husband John Forrest merchant in Forfar who died 6th Apirl 1870 aged 79 years. The said Hellen Adamson died 4th July 1882 aged 80 years.3
