  • (Witness) Marriage: Catherine Watson witnessed the marriage of Hugh McClenaghen and Janet Watson on Friday, 17 December 1858 at Camelon, Falkirk, Stirlingshire, Scotland, ; 1858 marriages in the parish of Falkirk in the county of Stirling, ref 47; on the seventeenth day of December 1858 at Camelon Parish of Falkirk marriage after banns was solemnised between us according to the forms of the Church of Scotland; signed Hugh McClenaghen, 24, 1 Well Wynd Airdrie, nailer bachelor, parents James McClenaghen grocer, Janet McClenaghen ms Conway; signed Janet Watson, 26, Camelon, spinster, parents Thomas Watson nailer, Catherine Watson ms McNair; signed George Wade minister West United Church Falkirk, signed A T McClenaghen, Catherine Watson witnesses; The above marriage was registered by me at Falkirk on the 30th December 1858 W S Kemp registrar.1
