  • (Witness) Memorial Inscription: She is commemorated on the headstone erected by Helen Adamson reed & camb manufacturer after 21 December 1885 at Forfar Cemetery, Forfar, Forfarshire, Scotland, . Inscription reads Erected by HELEN ADAMSON in memory of her husband GEORGE TYRIE who died Dec 21st 1885 aged 58 years; also of their children JANE who died Aug 14th 1860 aged 3 years; ELIZABETH who died Sept 28th 1885 aged 32 years; JESSIE who died 5th May 1895 aged 31 years; the above HELEN ADAMSON who died 7th Feby 1910 aged 78 years; and of their son DAVID TYRIE who died 7th July 1915 aged 63 years; LIZZIE TYRIE daughter of the above DAVID TYRIE who died 5th Sept 1918 aged 32 years; HELEN MALCOLM wife of the above DAVID TYRIE who died 7th June 1933 aged __ years.3
