  • (Witness) Memorial Inscription: He is commemorated on the headstone erected by Alexander Findlay farmer after 12 May 1917 at Dunnichen Churchyard, Dunnichen, Forfarshire, Scotland, . Inscription reads Erected by Alexander Findlay in loving memory of his wife Agnes Yeaman Ramsay who died at East Mains of Craichie 12th May 1917 aged 47 years; also their second son John L Findlay who fell in action in France 24th Oct 1918 aged 21 years; also the above Alexander Findlay who died at Auchlishie Kirriemuir 27th Dec 1932 aged 77 years; also his eldest son Walter Ramsay Findlay of Legoston who died 13th Aug 1950 aged 55; and of his wife Catherine Wallace Ramsay who died 1st November 1958 aged 60 years.1
