  • (Deceased) Death*: John Taylor Mudie died on 9 April 1903 at age 38 from Eliz Johnston [May 2006].
  • (Witness) Memorial Inscription: He is commemorated on the headstone erected by George Mudie circa 1869 at Fowlis & Liff Church, Fowlis, Perthshire, Scotland, . Inscription reads Erected by George Mudie in memory of his father Peter Mudie who died 7 October 1861 and also his mother Elspeth Robertson who died 8th November 1868 the above George Mudie died on the 14th of May 1878 aged 40 years also John Taylor Mudie son of the above George Mudie and late partner of the firm Shiell and Small Solicitors Dundee who died 9 April 1903 aged 38 years Elizabeth Taylor wife of the above George Mudie who died 10 August 1911 age 76 years.1
