  • (Headstone) Memorial Inscription*: Headstone Forfar Newmonthill Bell Betsy 1944 was erected after 29 January 1944 at Forfar Municipal Cemetery, Forfar, Forfarshire, Scotland, . Inscription reads polished granite headstone with guilded engraving; In loving memory of BETSY NEAVE BELL beloved wife of ARCHD THORNTON died 29th Jan 1944 aged 60 years; the above ARCHIBALD THORNTON died 11th March 1972 aged 87 years; also their dear daughter EVELYN B THORNTON died 13th July 2007 aged 91 years.1
