Inscription reads Sacred to the memory of Elisabeth Roberts wife of Alexander Nicoll who died 8th June 1882 aged 65 years; John S Nicoll son of the above died 26th November 1879 aged 34; Isobel, Alice, George, James, Peter all died young; The above Alexander Nicoll died 5th January 1884 aged 68 years; also Catherine Downie beloved wife of David R Nicoll who died 23rd April 1885; also the said David R Nicoll who died 14th February 1901 aged 46 years and his second wife Barbara Smith who died 1st December 1926 aged 69 years.1
