(Officiating Clergy) Marriage: James Dodds minister of St Clements officiated at the marriage of Hugh Cameron and Isabel Duff Mackie on Friday, 8 June 1860 at 137 Seagate, Dundee, Forfarshire, Scotland, ; 1860 marriages in the 1st District of the burgh of Dundee in the county of Forfar, ref 165; on the eighth day of June 1860 at 137 Seagate Dundee marriage (after banns) was solemnized between us according to the forms of the Church of Scotland; signed Hugh Cameron, aged 26, 10 Fish Street Dundee, Private 70th Regt, Regst No 3216, bachelor, parents Dougald Cameron labourer Aberdeen (deceased) and Catherine Cameron (deceased); signed Isabella McKay, aged 26, Overgate Dundee, powerloom weaver, spinster, parents James Mackay labourer Dundee and Catherine Brand; signed James Dodds minister of St Clements; James Mackay, Thomas Leitch witnesses; the above marriage was registered by me at Dundee in the 11th day of June 1860 Wm Fairweather registrar.^1,2
