  • Anecdote*: SH says 'I'm not sure of the year that Elizabeth Renton died but know it was in Dundee sometime after June 12, 1940 and 1944. My dad was pretty much raised by her - she was his grandmother- and she died while he was in a prisoner of war camp. She had become bedridden and was unable to go to a shelter when bombs fell. One landed on or near her building. This caused her death.5'
