Inscription reads polished (Aberdeen?) granite square monument surmounted by draped urn; In loving memory of our mother Ann Catanach wife of John Douglas who died at Dunnichen 10th March 1899 aged 65 years; and of our father John Douglas who died at Dunnichen 8th July 1899 aged 74 years; erected by their family.2
