The witnesses were Marian Aldridge, A F Lellman and John F Summers. John’s father was recorded as William Clethero, butcher, and Alice’s father was recorded as Joseph Aldridge, butcher.1
  • Death*: John Richard Clethero died on 29 May 1960 at Stanley, Falkland Islands, ; John, age 80 and a labourer, died 29 May 1960 in Stanley and was buried 1 June 1960 in Grave S1667.1
