Joseph, age 25 and a butcher, was married to Catherine ELMER, age 18, 20 July 1882 in the Parish Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by Lowther E Brandon MA Colonial Chaplain. The witnesses were F I King and R Elmer. Joseph’s father was recorded as Thomas Aldridge, publican, and Catherine’s father was recorded as William Elmer, (military) pensioner.1
  • (Deceased) Death*: Catherine Elmer died on 26 June 1951 at Stanley, Falkland Islands, , Catherine, age 87 and a widow, died 26 June 1951 and was buried 29 June 1951in Grave J1457.1
  • Married Name: As of 20 July 1882, her married name was Aldridge.1
