Father*: John Findlay Paterson baker, restaurenteur b. 14 Apr 1882, d. 29 Feb 1956

  • Anecdote*: Sidney never kept in very good health.3
  • Anecdote*: One of Sidney Paterson's sons would visit his Aunt Ella when he was on leave.3
  • Anecdote: Sidney married Margaret Reoch Duffus (I think aunt of John Duffus) in 1950. They had five children. Sidney won a lottery in Rhodesia and when the family came home, he bought the big house at the top of Tofthill in Lochee. John Duffus talks about staying there with his mother and sister before they moved to their own place. Sidney had Radio Taxis that operated out of Lochee for years. Margaret remembers that Sidney never kept very well and thinks he may have divorced Margaret and married someone else. He died in 2001.4
