The witnesses were A N Fleuret, A M Aldridge and E Aldridge. Both Adele and Charles were living in Stanley at the time. Charles’ father was recorded as Thomas Aldridge, publican, and Adele’s father was recorded as Augustus Nicholas Fleuret, manager.^4,5,6
• (Deceased) Death*: Charles Emery Aldridge died on 6 October 1904 at Falkland Islands, , at age 40 Charles, age 40, committed suicide by shooting himself 6 October 1904 and was buried 9 October 1904 in Grave C 249. The inquest verdict was temporarily insane.^4,5
